Crowdfunding Campaign Ending Soon

WICHITA, KS (January 18, 2022) – Knowledge as a Service, Inc. (“KaaS”) today announced the end of its crowdfunding campaign is Sunday, February 6, 2022, at 11 p.m. PST. This date marks the completion of a six-month capital raise from the public-at-large using the Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF) exemption that is growing in popularity across the country as a viable way for companies to find investors.

KaaS chose Wefunder as the broker for their offering. Wefunder is one of the leading brokers for equity crowdfunding, with 37% of the market share and nearly one million investor users in their network. They boast higher returns than the top quarter of venture capital firms.

Equity crowdfunding, and crowdfunding, in general, changed the game for both investors and startups – and it’s just getting started. According to Crowdfund Capital Advisors via Crowdfund Insider, capital commitments through Reg CF totaled $239.4MM, up 77.6% from 2019. Statista reported transaction values exceeded $500MM in 2021.

“What really gave us validation in many of the decisions we made as a company in 2021 were the Wichita investors coming into our equity crowdfunding campaign,” Barkley said. “So far, we have attracted 39 investors from the Wichita Metro Area, and a total of 42 in Kansas.”

Wichita investors include Paul Gray of Paul Gray Homes; Francis Baalmann, attorney at Foulston Siefkin LLP and real estate investor; and Bonavia Industries, to name a few.
